TSM Names Berry President

Mike Berry, president of basketball team the Austin Toros, has left to become president of Triton Sports
Management Inc., a sports marketing and management agency.

The agency, which has six employees, is a division of Triton Financial LLC, an Austin−based investment
firm.

“This is a great opportunity for me to take what I learned on the team side and apply it to the agency,” Berry says.

The marketing agency represents the Heisman Winners Association, or HWA, and the World Combat League, which is a combat martial arts league associated with actor Chuck Norris.

Looking ahead, Berry says that the agency will focus on attracting new clients, as well as identifying partnership opportunities for HWA.

“HWA is national brand and platform that major companies can leverage,” Berry says.

The agency also recently worked for health club Life Time Fitness and counts Heisman Trophy winner Earl Campbell as a client.
